HGC Race to Dubai (2025 Trial) Latest table "Rev 2"

I’m trialing this year HGC race to Dubai similar(ish) to the DP Tour but just not so much money involved 😆. If successful, those interested can enter for a small fee in 2026.

Points are based on the number of entrants for each comp, the winner taking 10 points times the number of entrants, with last place taking 10 points.

Hopefully it will encourage more members to play in club comps & add a bit more fun / interest to the overall seasons diary.

Lets see how it goes this year before any commitment / plans are made for 2026

Ps Any observations / feedback of how you think the seed of an idea can be improved would be appreciated or, if you think its a dead duck let us know.

Wayne is clinging onto the lead by just 5 points from Tony. John Butler is ominously closing in on the top two now in 3rd Place. Only four Comps still to be played so it's becoming increasingly difficult for those outside the top 6 but... maybe not impossible.

Tony did regain the lead following the pairs KO comp but Wayne has bounced back following the singles KO comp. Both these comps have been allocated DOUBLE points. Jonny B is making his charge for the top.

With only 7 pairs playing in todays competition there wern't many points up for grabs so not much change in the leader board

Following on from the Jubilee cup and despite not playing, Wayne holds onto the lead.

Gary Brown is slowly but surely making his move for the winners enclosure but is it too little too late

Theres all still to play for staring with the anniversary Cup being played this weekend.

After todays competition we have a new leader: Wayne has leap frogged both Tony & Allan. Theres still plenty of comps to enter so its far from being over.

Tony is still leading the pack.

As expected 🙄 I've rec'd little feedback apart from JB (thanks John) maybe I'll spice it up with Club C'ship next month, by making that a that a double pointer🤔. Even of you think this idea is a waste of my time or, if you have ideas how it can be made more interesting to the membership let me know please, thats assuming if anyone bothers reading this stuff 😂
