Dear Members

As the year draws to a close and Christmas is upon us, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your ongoing support and camaraderie throughout the year to both Ken as outgoing captain and myself as new captain for 2026.

2025 has been any positive year for our club, filled with great rounds of golf, exciting competitions and further growth in our county teams. It has been a pleasure to see so many of you out on the course across the year and I look forward to even more fantastic moments next year. Hopefully this Christmas you find time to relax, enjoy the company of loved ones, reflect on the highs and lows of the past year and perhaps a little time for golf – whether it’s with family or friends.

For 2026, I have chosen Little Havens Children’s Hospice as my charity. Serving the Brentwood area, they provide free specialist care for children with complex conditions, both in their homes and at their various hospice locations. Being a local charity, I feel it is appropriate that whilst I am not from the area, any donations are fed back into the local community so we can continue to support where possible. I look forward to your support in helping Little Havens throughout the year.

On behalf of the entire committee, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here’s to more great rounds, good times, and continued success for our club in 2026.

Warm regards,

Craig Saxton

Club Captain 2026
