As typically mentioned with these KO comps following the draw its advised the matches are arranged & played asap (see extract of rules Below)

Assistance with the rules
4.6 Knock out comps: It is the responsibility of the person/pair at the top of the draw (the “home team”) to contact their opponent (away team) asap after knowing who they are drawn against and offer 3 playing times including a minimum two weekends (a weekend includes both Saturday and Sunday). If the opponent is unable to make any of the dates offered the opponent can offer 2 alternatives in return. If you are unable to agree a mutual playing time, the matter should be referred to the CC. NB priority will generally be given to the name at the top of the draw providing the above procedure has been followed. However, to ensure full compliance with the above procedure contact should be made at the earliest opportunity and, for example, with four weekends left in the playing period to afford the away team the opportunity to counter offer alternative weekend dates. If the home team wait until the latter part of the playing period to offer dates thereby denying the away team the chance to offer alternative dates as they have already passed then preference will be given to the away team. The greater the restriction on your playing availability e.g. holidays, “not available Sundays” etc the greater the onus is on you to make early arrangements. If, due to GDPR restrictions, your contact information is not in the club diary then you assume the role of “home team” and are required to make do contact. If neither teams details are included in the diary then contact will have to be made via the club Secretary.
Pairs may choose to be represented by only one player if they so wish but they cannot require their opponents to be represented by a single player e.g. if they have failed to make early contact thereby denying the opponents the opportunity to play together.
Please note - The summer competition season is very crowded with limited competition free Saturdays and it may become necessary for players with restrictions on their availability to choose which competitions to enter or continue in. The R&A recommend against players being able to use a single round to play both a strokeplay/stableford competition AND a match play competition at the same time as the rules and strategies differ. This recommendation was adopted as a rule by the club many years ago and any players found to have played a match play and strokeplay/stableford competition in the same round will be disqualified from both. To ensure there is sufficient time to play all the knockout rounds necessary to complete within the overall time schedule only 32 players or teams will be allowed in to the knockout competitions and this will be the first 32 (paid) names on the sheet.
4.7 All matches MUST be complete and results written up by the deadline dates indicated on the knockout sheet or both players/teams will be eliminated.
4.8 Extensions of time to round deadline dates will only be given in exceptional circumstances as decided by the CC.
