Thain Cup Comp (2025 Result)

History: The Thain Cup was donated by Norman Thain, a Brentwood Councillor and member of Thorndon Park, as the club's singles knockout trophy. He was also one of the councillors of the Brentwood UDC Parks Committee.

The usual rules apply

1. Write your name(s) on the sheet in the clubhouse

2. Pay your £3 entrance fee

3. Book onto IG before the draw date if applicable or before you play whichever the sooner (You can book on upto 2 weeks in advance)

4. Do not enter any intent yourself on EG re entering a score. The club enters these for you when playing a club comp.

5. If you miss the deadline there will be a "reserve list" to enter your name on, if you pay the entrance fee and book onto IG you might? be lucky to get a spot but ONLY if someone drops out, if they don't you will get your money back.
