WHS Index - Scorecards / Post box

A reminder the only score cards which should be entered in the post box are those which are for:-

1. Three HCP cards ("NEW MEMBERS")

2. Competition cards

All other general play cards should either be entered on your phone or the club computer by you or with a friends assistance if necessary.

Hopefully you'll appreciate it's not practical or fair to expect the competition committee to enter general play cards on your behalf. If you have a genuine / specific problems please contact us and we can discuss the same otherwise, any general play cards randomly put in the post box will be discarded.

As comps are plentiful hopefully this a timely assistance.

A timely reminder since the WHS was introduced in November 2020 that

1. WHS promote recording all your golf scores either as competition or general play rounds

2. When playing "Club" comps excl fun type comps ie eclectic (if in doubt ask) don't register your intent to create a score as this will be done automatically as part of your comp entry.

3. Do not mix & match any scores you register / record ie if you register your intent on your phone don't then attempt to put your scores on the club computer & vice versa.

4. If you receive a notice about a penalty you are likely to receive, if you can't sort on the day it's highly unlikely it can be reversed subsequently

5. The penalties aren't harsh (they usually just record that you played to your handicap) so don't concern yourselves, it's more of a slap on your wrist to teach you a lesson.

Its appreciated that it can prove tricky converting your WHS index to your playing HCP dependant on if your playing off the white or yellow tees. Hopefully this will assist you.
